Healthy raw salad

Summer is a good time for eating more fresh, raw vegetables. If the weather is warmer I feel like eating something light, fresh and juicy 🙂 Love raw salads, plus they are full of good vitamins and minerals. This colorful salad consist celery, a vegetable, which lots of us don’t like to eat. In this salad it is chopped into small pieces, which makes it more pleasant to eat. It gives a lovely crunch to a salad, is an excellent source of vitamin C and fibre and is a great choice if you are watching your weight. One large stalk contains only 10 calories 😉 Salad is easy to make, wash your vegetables and chop them into smaller pieces. For dressing mix olive oil, lemon juice, pepper, crushed garlic, cayenne pepper and mix dressing with salad. Serve as a side with meat, on it’s own and it goes great with barbecued meat.

  • yellow pepper
  • celery
  • avocado
  • cherry tomatoes
  • cucumber
  • spinach
  • red onion
  • olive oil
  • lemon juice
  • pepper
  • crushed garlic
  • cayenne pepper
